If you visit a grocery store in Hancock or Washington county this coming Friday, you have a good chance of meeting someone from Downeast Community Partners, the community action program for that area.  DCP’s mission is  “to improve the quality of life and reduce the impact of poverty in Downeast communities”.   One of the needs they have identified is for cleaning and personal care items.   Which is why you may meet them at your local grocery store on Friday.
