How do we maintain “Hope in Times of Fear”? Local peace and justice activists spoke about that issue earlier this month at the University of Maine. Ilze Petersons, the director of the Peace and Justice Center of Eastern Maine, and Libby Norton, Laura Nobel, Josephine Bright and Evan Livonius are members of a group that has been reading and discussing a collection of essays called “The Impossible Will Take a Little While: A Citizen’s Guide to Hope in a Time of Fear” edited by Paul Rogat Loeb.
