UPDATE 9/15/23 FROM AIO:
Important Announcement About ArtFeeds
Online Bidding Extended until Sunday, Sept 17 at 4:00 PM
Hurricane Lee’s forecast suggests a significant weather event for much of the New England coast, specifically Penobscot Bay.
As a result, the Closing Party & Benefit at 16 Bay View Hotel, scheduled for 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Saturday, September 16, has been postponed until Thursday, September 28, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
While we are disappointed in this turn of events, we are hopeful online auction bidding will continue from the safety of your homes. Our artists have worked hard to create one-of-a-kind art to fight food insecurity in our community. While the storm will pass, families and individuals who struggle with food insecurity will remain. Please, if you can, show your appreciation for the artists who make ArtFeeds one of Maine’s most extraordinary fundraising efforts by bidding high and often, demonstrating that not even a hurricane will stop our collective goodwill.
Tickets purchased for the original scheduled date of September 16 will be honored. If you have already purchased a ticket and are unable to attend at the rescheduled date, you may: 1) request a refund by email to [email protected], or 2) convert your ticket to donation to AIO by email to [email protected].
While this evening will be slightly removed from the closing of the ArtFeeds auction, this will be a night of celebration, program support, and social engagement.
