    Producers/hosts: Dr. Betty Duff and Joan Clemons

    Topic: Poetry; How the Salt Coast sages got started; Teaching English in the public schools; The rhythm of language

    Guests: Sharon Bray, freelance writer for the Penobscot Bay Press, primarily the Castine Patriot, former publisher of the Bucksport Enterprise and the Narramissic Notebook; Donald Crane, since retirement has been pursuing a life-long interest in poetry and has had a number of poems published in mostly Maine based magazines;
    Phil Rose, taught English for nearly 30 years and has had short stories, articles and poems, mostly with his favorite nautical theme, published in several New England magazines and newspapers. All are members of Kelly Lombardi’s Salt Coast Sages at the University of Maine in Machias.
